At the service of haute horlogerie and artistic jewelery for two generations.
GBC Montres is a company established by a family with passion for Haute Horlogerie, fine jewelery and a strong artistic vocation. We create "Grand Feu" enamel dials for the Haute Horlogerie and together with our partners we offer several services in the world of both Haute Horlogerie and fine jewelery.
Grand Feu enamel is family passion, savoir faire learned in Switzerland and techniques handed down with secrets that make this art unique and imitable.
We don´t see it as a job but a way to communicate through unique and precious masterpieces.
For many years we have been dealing with design and manufacture of "Grand Feu" dials
(Champlevé, Cloisonné, Plique Jour and Miniatura as well as the technique of Micromosaico romain, Micro-painture) combining skills with the most precious and rare stones and minerals in the world.
More than fifty years of "savoir faire" have enabled the company to improve ideas and experiences beyond the boundaries of common techniques.
Movement
For years we have been working to find the right solution for your project. Thanks to our skills you will be able to use the calibers of the most sought-after Swiss manufacturers and customize each of your requests.
Hands
We can produce your hands, in small quantities, completely handmade, or develop the complete mass production process, from the idea to large-scale production.
Buckle - Ardillon
We have several solutions to customize for your project. Whether you want to use a buckle deployant or classic ardillon, we have the solution ready for you!
Trade policy
Our processing phases:
CONCEPTION - A watch can be conceived in different ways: through a simple drawing, using 2D / 3D drawing software or analyzing the specifications of the project you want to carry out. Prestige Montres has the technical competences to realize your idea or drawing.
PLANNING/DESIGN - A watch follows two precise design phases. The 2D phase where symmetries, colors and concept will be evaluated and implemented, and afterwards the 3D design phase. The latter implies meticulous applications of all the dimensions to allow a perfect "placed in case" and a proper positioning of the movement.
COST-BENEFIT EVALUATION - Once processes, for prototype and production, have been defined we evaluate possible alternatives in order to achieve highest quality and optimal production cost.
PROTOTYPING - Intermediate phase of the project where planning and implemented strategies will be evaluated.
SERIAL PRODUCTION – After having finalized design and development processes we go to series production. Prestige Montres guarantees the realization of both small and large series.
QUALITY CONTROL – Dials and components undergo severe visual and mechanical tests before being used for assembly.
